The Red Deer Rebels could break a franchise record with another win tonight as they host The Calgary Hitmen.

After winning two games over this past weekend, they tied the record of most wins (7 straight) to start a season.

That equals the mark set by the Memorial Cup winning squad from 2000-01.

The Rebels play a mid-week game for the first time this season on Wednesday (Oct. 19) when they host the Calgary Hitmen at the Peavey Mart Centrium at 7 p.m. Red Deer beat Calgary 3-2 in overtime at the Peavey Mart Centrium on Sat. Oct. 8 when Jace Isley scored on an overtime penalty shot.

Then on Friday (Oct. 21) the Rebels make their first visit of the season to Medicine Hat to take on the Tigers (7 p.m.).

The Rebels return to the Peavey Mart Centrium this Saturday, Oct. 22 as they entertain the Prince Albert Raiders (7 p.m). The game marks the return of the Red Deer Advocate Postgame Skate, so bring your skates and helmet and join the Rebels on the ice once the game is over.
