The Wetaskiwin RCMP are investigating a theft over $5,000 from Canadian Tire. 

On March 8, at approximately 10 a.m., three suspects attended the Canadian Tire in Wetaskiwin, where they accessed the locked shelves containing powered hand tools.   

The suspects stole a significant amount of power tools under their clothing, and left in a new model grey Chrysler Pacifica. 

RCMP have secured video surveillance of the suspects who are described as:   

  • Suspect one, an elderly looking male with white hair and mustache, 
    wearing a plaid scarf, black vest over and blueish grey sweatshirt. He was wearing a black and white ball cap with a small off set logo. 

  • Suspect two, a middle-aged male with a dark beard. He was wearing the same style scarf with the vest over a blueish grey sweatshirt. He had on a black and grey ball cap and what appears to be auto darkening glasses. 

  • Suspect three, a middle-aged male with a dark beard.  He was wearing a bright red puffy coat.  He had on a black hat with a circular logo on the front.

Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
