The Wetaskiwin RCMP are looking for more information in relation to an incident where a firearm was discharged with intent in a rural area outside Millet.

On August 18, 2021, at approximately 9pm, police received a report of two suspicious vehicles in Millet. The first suspect vehicle is described as; a 2003, white, Ford F350. This vehicle has since been recovered and was determined to have been stolen. The second suspect vehicle is described as; a black, Ford F350, with a loud steel-tip after-market exhaust, and chrome rear door handles. This vehicle remains outstanding.

The driver of the White F350 was described as:

  • A Caucasian female
  • Having curly shoulder-length light blonde hair
  • Between the aged of 20 to 30 years old

The driver of the Black F350 was described as:

  • Skinny
  • A Caucasian male
  • Having short dark hair (balding) and a scruffy beard
  • Average height

The male driver of the black F350 shot at a witness who had attempted to stop the suspect vehicles, this caused damage to the victim’s vehicle however they were not injured. A police pursuit was initiated by ultimately terminated. 

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in Millet or the surrounding rural areas of Mameo Beach, Mulhurst Bay, Falun, and Pipestone, on August 18, or who has information about the offence or current whereabouts of the involved black F350 and/or suspects are asked to contact the Wetaskiwin RCMP at (780) 312-7267.
