It seems we were only spared a few days of extreme cold. An extreme cold warning is back in effect for the majority of Alberta. Extremely cold wind chill values around -40°C are expected overnight.

This cold spell isn’t anticipated to last too long. By Tuesday and Wednesday, we may even see positive temperatures.

As always, during extreme cold, it is important to bundle up and cover any exposed skin. Frost bite can occur within minutes.
