Sunny is kicking off the new year by celebrating Mrs. Pedersen’s Grade 6 class, for Classroom of the Month.
We loaded up the station vehicle with prizes from sponsors and stopped at Boston Pizza Lacombe to grab some delicious pizzas before heading to Iron Ridge Intermediate Campus.
Sunny got to join the class for their jersey and pajama day, and even got to show off his artistic skills in a quick art lesson with the Blackfalds Bulldogs!
Sunny spent the afternoon taking selfies and signing autographs, before stopping by the school’s gymnasium to play a quick game of survivor dodgeball with students and the Bulldogs.
Reed Horvath nominated this class because he wanted to make his last year at the school memorable, and he was so excited for Sunny to join in the memories!
“We have the best class and the best teacher. I love coming to school, she makes it fun and it's our last year before we go to the other school,” he said.
