It’s was supposed big weekend for hockey for the Lacombe AA Generals.  Game three and four of the five game series were planned for this weekend against the Bonnyville Pontiacs.  

However, this afternoon the Bonnyville Pontiacs forfeited Game Three advancing the Lacombe AA Generals into the semi-finals. It is still being determined what team the Generals will be playing against for their semi-final series as other teams wrap up their quarter-final series. A game schedule will be available at a later date. 

Here’s a run down of the Generals' series against the Bonnyville Pontiacs:

  • Game 1: 5-3 for the Generals
  • Game 2: 7-2 for the Generals
  • Game 3: Forfeited by the Bonnyville Pontiacs

The Gens currently sit at first place in the league.
