Red Deer RCMP wish to thank the public for their assistance in locating Yuri Butorin. Yuri was located later the same afternoon in good health.

From the Red Deer RCMP: April 5th, 2020.
Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to locate 39-year-old Yuri Butorin who is reported missing after a day trip to Abraham Lake. Yuri was last seen at 12 p.m. on April 4 in Red Deer. Yuri drove alone to Abraham Lake in Clearwater County on April 4th and did not return home as expected. Police are concerned for his well-being.
Yuri is described as:
- Caucasian
- 5’7”
- 220lbs
- Grey hair
- Brown eyes
- Grey facial hair
- Last seen wearing light grey winter jacket, black sweat pants, and a black hat
Yuri was driving a beige/silver 2004 Mitsubishi Delica minivan with license plate CDK2977. Police believe Yuri is in the Clearwater County area. A photo of Yuri is attached.
