From RCMP Major Crimes:

On March 29, 2020, at 8:50 p.m., Sundre RCMP responded to a report of the sudden deaths of a 35-year-old male and a 41-year-old female, both residents of a rural home located near Sundre.

RCMP Major Crimes have taken over carriage of this investigation, with the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

It is believed the 41-year-old female is the victim of a homicide. The RCMP Major Crimes believes this is an isolated incident and are not looking for any suspects, nor are charges anticipated.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary will be completing autopsies on both deceased on March 31, 2020.

The identities of the deceased will not be released.
