Interactive map for commercial truck drivers

To better help commercial truck drivers across the province, there is now an interactive map on 511Alberta that will help them find restaurants, restrooms, safety rest areas, vehicle inspection stations, and showers still available on the highways.

Fire Bans

While snow is still on the ground the fire danger is low. There are no currently no-off-highway vehicle restrictions in effect, but they might be phased in as conditions change.

A fire ban is in place inside the Forest Protection Area of Alberta and Alberta provincial parks and protected areas until further notice.
