Over the last few weeks, I've tried to get out for a walk everyday. Some days I could head out in a light jacket and other days it was parka, toque and gloves time. Some days I could walk along the Sylvan lakeshore, and other days I was walking down the back lanes to avoid the wind. This time last year, we'd already had many days of plus tempertures. In fact, we didn't have one minus temperture for a high the entire month of April. Last year at this time, my friend was one of the first to get his pontoon in the water. And in April 2018, half way through the month we were enjoying sunshine and high teens for temps. With Covid 19 keeping many people indoors, the cooler weather has probably been a good thing. Warmer temps are on the way and I look forward to warm walks and chilling on the deck!
