Lacombe City Council will be discussing bringing back video lottery terminals (VLT) into city limits.

Council has given first reading to Bylaw 490 that would repeal Bylaw 244, which removed VLT’s from the city back in 1998. Passing third reading of Bylaw 490 would allow VLT’s back into The City of Lacombe.

Council will be holding a public hearing on Monday, August 9th at 5:30 pm. This meeting will be held both electronically and in-person.

You can view the hearing on The City of Lacombe’s Youtube channel.

Any person or group wishing to express their views on the proposed bylaw may send in comments by emal to dpiche@lacombe.ca no later than 11:00 am on Monday, August 9th.

You can also register to speak to Council via telephone during the public hearing by contacting Diane Piche at 403-782-1274.
