Rocky Mountain House RCMP have rescinded the Police Initiated Public Alert (shelter in place) for O’Chiese First Nation. The suspect is still at large however, RCMP believe that the immediate threat to public safety has subsided.  RCMP remain in O’Chiese First Nation searching for the suspect.

Police believe the suspect is Shaeden Muskeg (24), who described as:

  • Medium Complexion
  • 5’9” tall
  • 200 lbs
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Shaeden Muskeg has warrants for his arrest from a Sept. 13, 2023, incident on Sunchild First Nation where he was charged with:

  • Discharge a firearm with intent
  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Aggravated assault
  • Possession of a firearm contrary to order.

RCMP are asking for the publics assistance in locating Shaeden Muskeg. Muskeg is considered armed and dangerous. If seen Do not approach, please call 911 immediately.
