Reports are coming in of power outages in some parts of The Town of Sylvan Lake.

According to Fortis Alberta there is currently an unplanned outage that started just after 7am Saturday. This is affecting 921 households.

"Animal interference" is written on the site as the cause of the outage.

The estimated time for the power to be restored is around noon.
