Disruptions expected on 49th Street 

Red Deer drivers are advised of upcoming lane closures along 49 Street near 50A Street as crews work on stormwater infrastructure in the area. 

Between Monday, October 17, and Friday, October 21, the right lane will be closed to drivers. Signs will be in place and drivers are reminded to slow down and obey all signs when driving in construction zones. 

 

Road closure on 47 Avenue  

There will also be an upcoming road closure on 47 Avenue between 47 Street and 49 Street as crews work on water and sanitary infrastructure in the area. 

Starting at 7 a.m. Friday, October 14, 47 Avenue will be closed between 47 Street and 49 Street until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18. Signs will be in place and drivers are reminded to slow down and obey all signs when driving in construction zones.
