At around 2:40 pm, Wednesday, The Sylvan Lake Fire Department were called to the scene of a structure fire on Harper Road in the district of Hewlett Park.
Although smoke could be seen coming out of the home, no flames were visible. Firefighters were going in and out of the structure wearing gas masks and air tanks.
ATCO gas was also called to the scene.
At this time there is no word of anyone injured, cause of the fire or amount of damage to the home.
