Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for most parts of Central Alberta. This includes Lacombe County, Red Deer County and areas to west including Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg.

Ten to twenty centimeters of snow is expected in some areas and if you are driving, there will be limited visibility at times.

Watch for icy and snow covered roads.

Snow developed along the northern foothills early this afternoon and will spread south through the Calgary area into southern Alberta this evening.
Snowfall amounts could vary considerably within forecast regions.

Snow will begin to ease Sunday night.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
