With the snowfall last night, many Central Alberta drivers are reporting the roads to be in fair to poor condition this morning.

The further north you head towards Edmonton, the worse the highways become.

The QE2 between Bowden and Edmonton is partly covered with snow and ice. Because of of towing ban on many sections of the highway last night, towing companies will be out this morning recovering many vehicles from ditches. Near Bowden there is a flipped cattle liner in the ditch.

Leduc RCMP have lifted their towing ban, but are still reporting many crashes in that area so take care if you are commuting to Edmonton.
