The Red Deer Rebels will be longing for the safety of home after their second straight loss on the road to Saskatoon, Saturday.

After the Blades scored three unanswered goals in the second period the game was pretty much done for Red Deer.

Rebels Captain, Jayden Grubbe  who was was injured in Prince Albert, did not play either did forward Dwayne Jean Jr. and defenceman Marek Schneider. This left Red Deer with just 15 skaters on a shortened bench.

Some good news for the team, Ryker Singer, who had been signed last week, scored his first of two goals just over three minutes later during a power play. They went 2-7 on the power play.

The Rebels return home to The Peavey Mart Centrium on Wednesday to host the Moose Jaw Warriors.
