Playing at the nationals in Oshawa, Ontario the RDC Kings unfortunate semi-final loss against the Durham Lords 2-0 put them into the semi-finals for a chance to be in the bronze medal game today, November 8th at 12:30 PM ET, or 10:30 AM MT. 

The Kings will face the Champlain Saint-Lambert Cavaliers.

Both teams were hungry for the win right on the field. The Kings manage to take get shot on net early in the game. The Cavaliers eventually make their way into King's territory and goalkeeper Jacob Hamilton saves a couple of great shots. In response, the Kings become defensive on the field. The Cavaliers managed to get one in through some decent positioning by the net. Hamilton takes a hit and is taken off the field injured just before the end of the half and the Kings put in Rhys Groenewegen. From there, the Kings get aggressive and take a couple of shots on the Cavaliers but none that change the game. 

In the second half, Groenewegen returns to the net and the Cavaliers are quick to test him out, scoring two goals right out of the gate. RDC steps up and keeps the Cavaliers at bay for the remainder of the game. Cavaliers advance to the bronze medal game at 3-0.

The Kings have one last battle for placement against the Humber Hawks. Tomorrow, November 9th at 11:30 AM ET, 9:30 AM MT.
