For 25 years, The Red Deer Regional Health Foundation's Hospital's Lottery has been supporting health care for Central Alberta.

This is to ensure that the Red Deer Hospital can meet the demands of the over 500,000 people in our area.

Manon Therriault, The CEO for the health foundation talks about how much money has been raised. “With Hospital’s Lottery, over the past 25 years, we have raised well over 11 millions dollars for our hospital here in Red Deer.”

Therriault also touched on what the money from this year's lottery will to to support. “Every year the hospital provides us with what we call the critical list... that is is most critically needed equipment. We agreed last year to fund the hospital from the top down allowing us to impact every square inch of the hospital. That was really well received so we have decided to do the same this year.”

This year's dream home, located at 121 Emerald Drive in Red Deer is valued at over $1,126,465. It is a bungalow that has over 3,000 square feet of developed living space.

Therriault talks about her favourite part of the home. “It’s an amazing home. We have partnered with Sorento Custom homes. They have listened to our ticket buyers advice and feedback on the home. The’ve bult something that is both liveable and impressive. My favourite part is the same as last year, floor to ceiling windows that back onto green space.

If you would like to check out the home, it is open Saturdays and Sundays until June 18th, from 1-5 pm.
