Springbrook residence may experience traffic delays this coming weekend

The Red Deer Regional Airshow will take place on Saturday, July 29 and on Sunday, July 30th at the Red Deer Regional Airport located in the community of Springbrook. Residents may experience traffic delays along Airport Drive due to higher than normal traffic volumes.

To avoid delays along Airport Drive and 34 Avenue, recommended access to residential areas in Springbrook is through Tamarac Blvd. Springbrook residents are also encouraged to display an Airshow Resident Parking Pass if parked on the street for easy identification. 

During the Red Deer Regional Airshow, a safe area must be maintained for the performances to occur. To maintain this safe area, the following roads will be closed from 10 AM –5 PM:

•Township Road 372 between Airport Drive and the C&E Trail

•Range Road 281 from Township Road 372 to Highway 592

•Range Road 282from Township Road 372 to Highway 592
