Throughout the week grassfires have been common in the province as we deal with extremely dry conditions. Early this morning, emergency crews have been dealing with a grass fire in Parkland County.  Hopefully, this weekend’s rain will bring an end to dry conditions throughout the province.

Today there is a high of 13°C and a 60 per cent chance of showers with occasional wind gusts particularly in the areas east of Red Deer. Into the evening we can expect around 5 to 10 mm of rain.
