On Sunday morning (March 27), at approximately 09:26 a.m. the Olds RCMP Detachment responded to a complaint of a male found injured in a ditch along Range Road 28-5 near Highway 587 in Red Deer County.
Police arrived and located a male with life threatening injuries. The male was transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance and remains in critical condition. The investigation is in the early stages and the Olds RCMP Detachment and the RCMP Southern Alberta District General Investigation Section are actively involved. At this time, it is not believed that the public is at any risk.
