Lacombe Police Service are currently investigating a series of incidents where suspect(s) have been shooting at residential and business windows with what appear to be a pellet or BB gun.

On February 21, 2022 Lacombe Police Service responded to a break and enter which occurred at Casey’s Cabin, near Burman University. Suspects used a BB gun to shoot out a window, then gaining access to the building through the broken window. Once inside, suspect(s) caused further damage, spraying a fire extinguisher and using an axe to damage interior walls.

On February 25, 2022, Lacombe Police Service members received a complaint from a residence on Eagle Road. The complainant advised that they had just witnessed two male suspects walking on Eagle Road, who then proceeded to shoot out a window in the residence with a BB gun. The suspects were last observed fleeing the area on foot.

On March 24th, 2022, Lacombe Police Service received a complaint from a business located on C&E Trail where suspect(s) had damaged a large plate glass window some time over night. Police attended and determined that the window had been shot with a BB Gun, causing extensive damages to the window.

Police would like to remind the public that firing a BB gun toward any type of building, vehicle, person is a Criminal offence and can be a very dangerous situation. If anyone has any information pertaining to the above noted files, please contact the Lacombe Police Service.
