The Lacombe Generals are the North Central Hockey League (NCHL) champions. With two wins over the weekend they were the top regular season team overall and captured their first President's Trophy

The Generals beat The Westlock Warriors 5-2 on Saturday , and on Sunday. The Bonnyville Sr. Pontiacs 8-4.

With these two wins and their impressive regular season record, the Generals will have home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.

The NCHL playoffs bracket will be determined after the regular season wraps up this weekend.
