Easter events kicking off this weekend 

Easter events are starting throughout Central Alberta this Saturday, (March 23).  

Here’s what events municipalities are offering:  

Lacombe: 

The City of Lacombe’s Mary C. Moore Public Library is offering Easter Egg Decorating from 10 a.m. to noon, in Kinsmen Library Program Room.

Penhold: 

The Town of Penhold is hosting the annual Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Penhold Multiplex.  

The event will feature crafts, face painting, a bouncy slide, cookie decorating, and Easter bunny photos. 

Blackfalds: 

The Town of Blackfalds is hosting the Family Easter Event, featuring a charity BBQ in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters, games, crafts, and an appearance from the Easter bunny. 

The Family Easter Event is open from noon to 2 p.m. at the Blackfalds Community Centre (4810 Womacks Rd).
