Early this morning, (October 26, 2022) an unattended running vehicle was stolen in the Town of Innisfail. RCMP are searching for a 2019 White Honda Civic with Alberta licence plate HMT 966.

If the vehicle is spotted you are encouraged to contact RCMP immediately.

In winter months, RCMP often see increases in thefts of vehicles left running. RCMP advise residents to take precautions to help keep your vehicle from being stolen by a criminal.  Leaving keys in a vehicle is tempting to any criminal! Never leave your keys in the car or in the ignition if you are not in the vehicle. Often times, criminals will watch and wait for moments when individuals go inside or into a store after starting their car.
