What would you say if I told you that you can see Africa without even leaving the comfort of Lacombe? Well that's entirely possible with the Lacombe Memorial Centre's "Armchair Travel"!

If you've never heard of Armchair Travel or maybe this will be your first one, allow me to fill you in on some of the details:

Every couple of months of so there's a new Armchair Travel, each with a different theme. The next theme is "Africa: Off The Beaten Path". There will be 4 presenters: Lynette Hycha, Janice Morrow, Julie Evans and Gwen Jensen. They'll all be sharing their stories and painting the picture of beautiful Africa!

The Mary C. Moore Public Library will be providing refreshments, and all ages are welcome so maybe your little one is totally obsessed with The Lion King and learning about Africa will make the experience all the more incredible for them!
