Today, I stopped by the Lacombe Memorial Centre to see the Fibre Art Exhibit created by Margaret Blank and Mary Wilton. Mary hand paints her fabric and embellishes it with wool roving and stitching for a truly beautiful and unique finish. You already may be familliar with Margaret's quilt work as she's been in the Encore Art Sale before. Be sure to read the fascinating story of how her piece Heading Up The Hill came together.

Stop by for a look the next time you're at the LMC. You'll find the Fibre Art Exhibit in the hallways leading to Anna Maria's Cafe until January 30th.
