I've been fortunate enough over the last couple of weeks to check out some wonderful dinner theatre performances in Central Alberta!

Klaglahachie Fine Arts Society's latest show is entiltled "Forever Plaid," a fun musical featuring a 1960s barber shop quartette returning to 2019 for one final performance. The show is fantastic, featuring wonderful harmonies and a bunch of laughs.  You can choose dinner theatre, with excellent food courtesy of Bob Ronnie Catering, or show only tickets.  The show runs weekends until December 8 at Ponoka United Church and you can get more info and tickets at kfatheatre.com.

I also took in Cow Patti Theatre Company's production of "The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby," another great comedy at the Lacombe Golf and Country Club.  The Cow Patti crew never disappoints and this first show of their season is no exception.  It's a "fish-out-of-water" story of a big city business man stuck in a small town with a hilarious cast of characters that will have you chuckling all through the show. Accompanied by a great meal, it makes for a wonderful evening or afternoon out! You can get more details on this one at cowpatti.com.

Make sure to check out some of the great theatre in Central Alberta this holiday season!
