On Dec. 21, 2022, at 12:05 a.m., Innisfail RCMP along with Innisfail Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on 47 street in the Town of Innisfail.

Upon entering the home, a 77-year-old male Innisfail resident was located by Fire Rescue. Unfortunately, the male succumbed to his injuries and was deceased.

The fire has been investigated by RCMP working in conjunction with a fire Investigator and has been deemed as non-suspicious.
