This will be the first official Alberta Day the province has celebrated. Alberta Day falls on September 1st but this year’s celebrations will be held throughout the province on Saturday, September 3rd.

“This weekend we’re hosting a celebration for all Albertans to celebrate this incredible province. From world-class talent, including some of Alberta’s favourite musicians to locally grown and produced food and drink, there will be something for everyone in the family. Join us in Edmonton, Calgary or communities across the province to celebrate Alberta’s culture, heritage and history,” said Ron Orr, MLA for Lacombe-Ponoka and Minister of Culture.
