Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you Pet of the Week! Each Wednesday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Meet Chalupa:

 

Hi, my name is Chalupa! I’m a 1 year old Daschund who’s very active and loves to play. I still act like a puppy, but that doesn’t mean I’m too much to handle!

I think it would be best if I went into a home that also lives an active lifestyle and has lots of room for me to run around and be myself. I like being around all dogs, big or small, and I also like meeting new dogs because we may just be best friends someday! If you have a house with kids I would like to meet them before coming home so I can sniff them and make sure we get along with each other. I don’t bite!

I’m neutered with all my shots up to date such as kennel cough and rabies. I have a small tattoo on my belly to indicate that I’m neutered, no I wasn’t involved with any biker gangs!
