Say hello to Jeffrey!

Hi, my name is Jeffrey! I’m a 7 year old Yorkshire Terrier who absolutely LOVES to cuddle and be held! I weigh 3 pounds… most of that being my head! I came to CARES as an owner surrender and needed extensive dental work done – I have no teeth! I’m more than ready to go to my new forever home and be a part of a new family!

Like I said before, I LOVE being held. I don’t squirm or anything. I am also a very quiet guy! The fact that I rarely ever bark means I’m perfect for apartment living because your neighbors would never even know I was there! Since I have no teeth I require some extra special care when it comes to feeding me. Right now I eat strictly soft foods but as my gums grow stronger and more resilient I’ll be able to graduate to harder foods. Something else you should note is I have cataracts. It sounds scarier than it actually is – it just means that my vision is blurry!

I am very well socialized with other dogs, new humans, and kids! I am not known to bite or growl. I am all caught up on my vaccinations including kennel cough and rabies. Also, I’m neutered! Book an appointment with CARES to meet me! All you have to do to start the adoption process is CLICK HERE!
