Sunny 94 has partnered with Central Alberta Rescue Effort Shelter (C.A.R.E.S) to bring you Pet of the Week! Each Wednesday we feature a new, super friendly, totally adoptable dog or cat. We’ll tell you a bit about them in hopes you’ll go to CARES, meet them, fall in love, and take them home with you!

Freddy

Say hello to Freddy!

Hi, my name is Freddy! I’m a 2 year old Chinese Crested Dog. I came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Unfortunately, they couldn’t take care of me anymore. I’m not too sad, though. This means I get a second chance at a loving home with a brand new family!

I’m a pretty shy guy right now, but that’s just how I am when I’m put into a new setting. It’ll probably happen when I first come home with you, but after a couple days I’ll be my regular old self! Playing outside is one of my favorite things to do, but I’m also a big fan of staying inside and relaxing with you after a long day at work. As you can tell, I’m a long haired dog, which means I require a little extra attention when it comes to grooming. I get along with other dogs fairly well, but I’ve never met a cat!

I’m all caught up on all my vaccinations including kennel cough and rabies. I’m also neutered so you won’t get any surprise puppies! I would love to meet you and become your new best friend! Book an appointment with CARES today and get the adoption process started. CLICK HERE for more details.
