The Town of Sylvan Lake has announced new three-year partnership with Bull Riders Canada (BRC) to host the BRC Finals at the NexSource Centre. The new agreement will extend the partnership until 2026.

“We are so excited to have the Bull Riders Canada team returning to Sylvan Lake! Our partnership with BRC has forged a great relationship that not only brings first class bull riding to the NexSource Centre, but also provides strong economic impact to our business community. We are really looking forward to hosting another three years of fantastic entertainment for residents and visitors alike," said Megan Hanson, Mayor of the Town of Sylvan Lake.

“The Town of Sylvan Lake has become part of the BRC Family. The Team at the NexSource Centre have proven themselves to excel at hosting an event of this magnitude; being incredibly diligent and focused on delivering excellence. The support from the Sylvan Lake community has also been very overwhelming; storefronts and staff dressed western, themed menu items in restaurants, and of course the sold out performances. Bull Riders Canada could not be more proud of a location or venue for our sports Finals Championship.” said Russell Friend, President of Bull Riders Canada.

The Bull Riders Canada Finals arrived in Sylvan Lake in November 2019. The event did not run in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but returned for 2022. The event was sold out in both years and features championship bull riding and live music entertainment over a two-day period.
