Update: The Maskwacis RCMP have established the wellbeing of Matthew Moonias and he is no longer considered missing. 

November 9th, 2020:

Maskwacis RCMP are asking for public assistance to locate 19-year-old Matthew Moonias.

Matthew was reported missing to police on November 8, 2020. He was last seen in Maskwacis on November 6, 2020.

There is a general concern for his safety and well-being. 

Matthew Moonias is described as:

  • Indigenous;
  • 5’10” tall;
  • Approximately 130 lbs;
  • Short black hair;
  • Brown eyes;
  • Has a skull tattoo on his left hand; and
  • Last seen wearing beige pants and a black “Champion” sweater.
