Hey! I’m Victoria, Vicki, Vickster, and Vic Formanski!
I am the afternoon News Reporter/Anchor for Sunny 94. I graduated at NAIT with a Television diploma and never really knew where it would take me.
I lived in Airdrie for the first half of my life, and then moved to Whitecourt for the teenage years and Edmonton for my college years. A year or so after graduating I moved to Ponoka to be closer to my other half, and shortly after started to fall in love with Lacombe.
When I am out of the newsroom you can catch me doing a variety of different things and I’m always up for a new activity or challenge. I enjoy golfing, fishing, cooking, baking, camping, 4x4ing, visiting with family and friends, and sometimes playing Mario-related video games (nerd alert I know).
I also work as a server and bartender at what I believe is one of the best restaurants in Central Alberta, Cilantro and Chive.
I was the kid growing up who always got moved in the classroom for talking to the people beside me.. But the jokes on them! I talk to everyone, and made two exciting careers out of it.
I love watching sports and you will catch me at as many Oilers games as I can get to on a radio/server salary.
I re-watch “Friends” and “How I Met Your Mother” constantly so I never have any new funny movie quotes, but I can tell you about Princess Consuela Banana Hammock and The Five Doppelgangers whenever you need a good nostalgic pick me up.
