If you hear a roar in the sky, it's nothing to worry about as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be continuing their cross country flight to salute Canadians. They will be taking off from Edmonton at 9:30 am and landing at The Rocky Mountain House Airport at 10:30 am Saturday.

"The unique mission dubbed, Operation INSPIRATION will see the team’s signature nine-jet formation, with trailing white smoke."

Today's leg of the tour will start in Edmonton, fly west over Camrose then continue above the QE2 highway over Wetaskiwin, Maskwacis, Ponoka and Lacombe. After Lacombe they will continue to fly South towards Red Deer where they will then head west  over Sylvan Lake, Eckville and then they will make a landing in Rocky Mountain House.

The entire flight will take about one hour.

The public is being asked to not gather together, or to travel to the landing area.
