A vehicle was consumed by fire in Bentley early this morning (April 5th) and a nearby garage and RV suffered minor damage.

Bentley Volunteer Fire Crews were called out around 6 to the residential area just across the street from the high school.

Fire Chief Ian McLaren says the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Thanks to the fire department's actions, the fire was knocked down quickly leaving minor damage to the siding of the garage and exterior of the RV.

McLaren says the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
