On June 5th, 2017 at approximately 9:22 AM, Olds RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of a stolen vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of Walmart.

A resident of Olds directed the RCMP detachment and stated that a white Dodge Caravan is parked at the location with five occupants in the vehicle who appeared to be on drugs. The resident also believed she saw the vehicle listed as stolen on Facebook.

RCMP attempted to arrest the couple but they fled the scene at a high rate of speed and the police were not able to pursue due to public safety concerns.
