On June 28-29, 2017 Lacombe Police Service along with other supporting law enforcement agencies
participated in a joint operation commercial vehicle check stop.

Participating law enforcement agencies included:

3. Edmonton Police Service – Commercial Vehicle Unit
4. Alberta Solicitor General – Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Branch
5. Alberta Solicitor General – Sheriff Integrated Traffic Patrol
6. Royal Canadian Mounted Police
7. Red Deer County Protective Services
8. Leduc County Protective Services
9. Camrose County Protective Services
10. Town of Blackfalds Enforcement Services
11. City of Lacombe Enforcement Services
12. Clearwater County

Inspectors focused on driver safety, load security, dangerous goods transportation and mechanical
equipment requirements on all commercial vehicles.
