With the United Conservative Party now set to form after Saturday’s referendum, we took to the streets of Lacombe to see how people are feeling about the merge of the Wildrose and PC Party.

Among those we spoke with, it was clear many are Albertan’s are mostly in favour of the merge.

Another group of people we spoke to believe anything is better than the current government in place.

The next date you should mark on your calendar is Oct. 28 2017, when the United Conservative Party elects its leader.

Brian Jean, Jason Kenney and Doug Schweitzer will be running for leader of the newly-formed party in the fall election.
