A word of caution from Drumheller RCMP as counterfeit $20 and $50 American bills are making the rounds, with a woman from Red Deer charged.

Mounties say the bills used at a number of local businesses in Drumheller were very high quality counterfeits.

Reanne Broderson of Red Deer was arrested late last month and is currently serving a 6 month sentence after pleading guilty to a handful of charges.

A Drumheller business became suspicious when two women purchased a large number of items using the phony bills and then one of them came back to the business to return some items in hopes of a cash refund.

Mounties have also issued warrants for 20 year old Sara Alderson and 35 year old Jeffrey Morse who are believed to be in the Drumheller area.
