From Red Deer RCMP:

Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify a suspect in a pharmacy break-in on November 24 that resulted in the theft of narcotics and cash.

Shortly after 2 am on November 24, Red Deer RCMP responded to a break-in at the Pharmasave located at 6900 Taylor Drive and determined that a male suspect had broken in and stolen narcotics and an undisclosed amount of cash.

At this point in the investigation, RCMP believe the same suspect is responsible for a string of pharmacy break-ins in central Alberta.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras inside the pharmacy and is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Average build
  • Light grey hair
  • Light grey facial stubble
  • Wearing a black jacket over a light-coloured hooded sweatshirt, a black touque and black gloves, carrying a large red and grey duffle bag with a Molson "Canadian" logo. 

More photos are attached of a suspect and suspect vehicle that were captured on other surveillance cameras before the break-in.

At this point in the investigation, RCMP believe these photos are of the suspect and suspect vehicle, which is believed to be a 1997-1999 GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Tahoe.
