Red Deer RCMP have sworn Criminal Code charges against a man who is alleged to have broken into a female neighbour’s home after a pattern of harassing behaviours.   

On July 2, Red Deer RCMP responded to a report that a man had broken into his female neighbour’s apartment and entered her bedroom while she was sleeping.

RCMP arrested the suspect and began an investigation into a pattern of harassment that was reported to have taken place over the past year.

The victim was not injured during the break and enter. 

63 year old Azizullah Shekeb faces the following charges:

  • •         Criminal Code 264(2)(b) – Criminal harassment
  • •         Criminal Code 348(1)(d) – Break and enter 

Shekeb was released under a number of court-imposed conditions, including not to have any contact with the victim, and is scheduled to appear in court in Red Deer on August 18 at 9:30 am.
