On March 28, 2017, The Lloydminster RCMP, executed a search warrant on a building located in the 5100 block of 62 Street in Lloydminster Alberta.

Prior to entering the building the RCMP stopped a vehicle associated with the location and found a significant amount of Canadian currency, a .45 caliber handgun and the driver was found to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber pistol.

Police seized five firearms, approximately 4.8 kilograms of marihuana, 47 grams of methamphetamine, 111 grams of cocaine, 122 grams of psilocybin, MDMA, MDA, and LSD.

Over $32,000 in Canadian currency, a conducted energy weapon, and brass knuckles were also seized.

Joseph Gudmundson (28), Jason Krysta (26), Gordon Howard (26), all from Lloydminster, and Aaron Popadynetz (27), from Red Deer, have been charged with four counts possession for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, and various weapons offences.

All four have appeared before a Justice of the Peace, three have been remanded, Jason Krysta has been released on $10,000 cash.

The next appearance will be on April 4, 2017 in Lloydminster Provincial Court.
