April 9/18 - The Officer of the Chief Coronor apologizing after two Broncos players were mistakenly identified as each other :

One of the deceased players had previously been identified as Xavier Labelle. This was an identification error and Xavier, an 18 year old from Saskatoon is not deceased.

Our condolences go out to the family of Parker Tobin. Unfortunately, Parker is one of the 15 that have lost their lives in this terrible tragedy. Parker had been misidentified and was previously believed to have survived.

Parker Tobin was an 18 year old goaltender with the team from Stony Plain.


April 8/18: The Office of the Chief Coroner and the RCMP are releasing the names of those who lost their lives in the tragic bus crash involving the Humboldt Broncos Junior A hockey team.

The accident occurred around 5:00pm on Friday, April 6th when a tractor-trailer unit traveling westbound on Highway 335 collided with the Broncos' bus traveling north on Highway 35.

15 of the 29 on the bus have died as a result, while 13 others remain in hospital. One player from the team has been released from hospital as of Sunday afternoon.
