At about 11am Monday February 6, Penhold Fire Department responded to a multi vehicle collision on HWY 42 east of Waskasoo Ave.

Upon arrival firefighters found a passenger car and a highway plow truck had collided at highway 42 and Waskasoo.

The operator of the plow was treated at the scene and released , the occupant of the car was not at the scene.

Penhold Acting Lt. Jesse Rochette said “There was some debris and fluids on the highway we dealt with and we treated the plow driver until EMS arrived. We set up traffic management on the highway in both directions and on Waskasoo Ave.”

10 firefighters and 4 units responded along with Guardian Ambulance.

Highway 42 was down to 1 lane for about an hour.

RCMP are investigating.
