You'll soon be able to grab a quick breakfast, loaded with the vitamins and nutrients to start your day in Lacombe.

Tracy and Sheldon Kuhn are opening Rise Juice in downtown Lacombe, offering up cold pressed juice and smoothies to start, and then eventually serve fresh salads, soup and Kombucha.

Tracy says her passion is juice, its power, and having healthy diet options.

"Being in the corporate world sometimes, or most times you don't have the time to eat healthy. But if I can pick up a juice that has over 3 pounds of vegetables in each 16 ounce bottle, I don't have to worry about eating any more veggies that day."

Rise Juice is being opened in Sweet Capone's old location downtown, and Tracy and Sheldon are hoping to be serving up cold pressed juice and smoothies by May.

Tracy says not only is she excited to show others her passion for juice, but can't wait to be a Lacombe business owner.

"I'm so excited to live in Lacombe and be part of all these young entrepreneurs coming to this City, and I think that will be our claim to fame. I'm so excited to be part of that energy and creativity. That's what I'm really excited about. Being a part of this downtown team."

Rise will also be visiting Lacombe, Red Deer, and Sylvan Lake Farmers markets to attract more shoppers into our city.

They also plan to serve up their smoothies and juices at 3rd party events.
